These are some of the custom backgrounds for web pages that we have created for customer use from our photographs.

We can also create ones specifically for your site from either your photos or ours. Customers can also specify the color of the main text area. The one on this page just happens to be white, but any browser safe color can be used. Click on the image to see the background on a full-sized page.

We do NOT charge for a public domain backgrounds. Backgrounds from our files are $10/site, and unique backgrounds from your images are $50/custom background. If the image is from our files, we reserve the right to use the background for another customer; however, if the image is your own, no one else will have that background. It will be totally unique to your site.

One note of CAUTION on the use of backgrounds:

Care needs to be taken with font colors and boldness to ensure that all text is readable when using picture backgrounds.

 

Light colors are very difficult to read on light backgrounds, and care must be taken to ensure that text colors don't clash.

 

Dark colors, on the other hand don't work well with dark backgrounds, while light colors will be difficult to read if the visitor prints the page without having background printing turned on.

 

Always consider the impact of the background on the readability and printability of the page
